Legumex Walker has an opening for the full-time position of Accounting Clerk, located in Saskatoon, SK. We are looking for an experienced Accounts payable individual to support our accounting and finance department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review invoices and check requests.
- Sort and match invoices and check requests.
- Code and set up invoices for payment.
- Prepare and process accounts payable checks.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Produce monthly reports and process expense reports.
Education and Key Success Factors:
- Completed post-secondary education in an accounting certification/diploma program.
- 2-5 years experience in accounts payable.
- Approaching a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
- Ensuring that information is passed on to others who should be kept informed.
- Ensuring that ones own and others work and information are complete and accurate.
- Demonstrated concern that one be perceived as responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Demonstrated concern for satisfying ones external and/or internal customers.
- Expressing oneself clearly in business writing and in conversations interactions with others.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Assets:
- A combination of related education and/or work experience will be considered as an asset.
- Working knowledge with Great Plains Dynamics would be an asset.
