Description

The Salvation Army is a Christian based
organization.  National Recycling Operations  
Thrift stores adheres to its core values of
integrity, respect, honesty, compassion and
dignity.  NRO supports The Salvation Army by
recycling and selling donated goods which
generates funds in support of its social services
programs within our communities.

As a Truck Driver you will provide courteous pick-
up and delivery service to donors, guests and
Thrift stores by exercising safe and careful
driving and material handling procedures.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum Grade 10
or equivalent, possess a clean drivers abstract
and valid drivers license with appropriate
certification.  

You are an experienced operator of heavy and mid-
size vehicles and possess required provincial
licensing for operation of vehicles (may require
air brakes).  

You are flexible in work hours to achieve
predetermined deadlines and are attentive to the
safe keeping of Salvation Army property including
donations.

This position requires substantial exertion in the
collection, delivery and service to stakeholders.  

You possess superior time management skills and
are results driven with a focus on the guest.  

You are action oriented and communicate
effectively while maintaining your composure in
challenging situations.

Trucking is operational seven (7) days a week,
however, schedules will fluctuate dependent upon
operational needs.
