Summary
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the Sales Representative is responsible for managing all aspects of the sales function within a specified geographic territory for independent and chain customers. They will manage all customer inquiries, while developing/growing existing business and prospecting new customers for the assigned territory.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for achieving and exceeding gross margin and volume targets as assigned.
Develop and grow the business through new business development.
Prepare and present business reviews to customers and internal stakeholders, as required.
Develop plans and reports to measure gain / loss in accounts with initiatives towards acquiring new or growing business
Maintain a high level of competitor and marketplace knowledge including products, pricing, discounts, promotions and sales level
Organizes demos for existing and potential customers, advises customers on presentation of products and promotional materials
