Description

The Senior Credit Manager plays a key role in the structuring, delivery and management of bank debt for our client base.  They manage a portfolio of clients with respect to the facilitation of financing agreements to support insurance products that form part of our clients financial planning.
Responsibilities:
-Liaise with sales staff and lead a group of inside analysts to ensure uniform comprehension of client financial strategies within the group and the accurate development, illustration and execution of those strategies.
-Facilitate collateral lending, bridge loans and corporate and personal credit facilities for clients, by preparing credit submissions and financial modeling, complete due diligence, review financial statements and loan documentation, and assist clients and their advisors as part of the transaction process.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners to generate and execute on referral opportunities
-Understand and keep up to date on the financial markets, industry, economics, regulatory and competitive environment, insurance product developments
Skills:
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with a marketing orientation and client focus.
-Excellent communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills; displays professionalism.
-Ability to work through complex Insurance Contracts, Loan Agreements and other legal documents.
-Strong results orientation, self-motivation, and initiative with ability to be effective in less structured environments and coordinate own and others activities
-High degree of computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
Qualifications:
-Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative fields. MBA, CFA, CA or other relevant post graduate designation preferred.
-Min 10 years experience in account management/lending at a financial institution or advisory firm.
