Director of Finance

Purpose of position:

TimeLine Logistic International in Saskatoon is looking for an experienced financial professional to fill in the position of Director of Finance. Being a small, but rapidly expanding company, this position will require direct, hands on involvement in the day to day financial activities and tasks. Leadership, insight, drive and ability to work independently are key attributes for the successful candidate in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including, Withholding Payments (EI), Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax,
Manage payroll functions to ensure that all employees and Lease Operators are paid in a timely and accurate manner
Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
Will be responsible for  cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control
Manage Bank Reconciliations
Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy
Maintains general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
Provide monthly statements on equipment  
Process and submit statutory and benefits remittances on time
Issue annual T4s and other submissions, returns (WCB, PST)  
Requirements:
University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Management/Administration
Chartered Accountant, Certified General Accountant, or Certified Management Accountant designation is an asset.
Candidates with solid experience (minimum 3 years) in similar fields will be considered
Previous experience working on Axon software would be an asset
