La Loche Community School is looking for a grade 7 teacher, this position encompasses English Language Arts, Social Studies, Career Education as well as an Art and Physical Education class to supplement the regular position. La Loche Community School provides educational programming for k- 12 students in two separate buildings with a total enrolment of 889 students and teaching staff of 58 teachers plus 24 paraprofessionals. The above position is in the Dene Building (grades 7-12); a modern, well equipped facility with an enrolment of 418 students, 28 teachers plus 7 paraprofessionals.
This is a full-time, temporary teaching position to start as soon as possible until June 30, 2015. The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan Professional A or Provisional Professional A teaching certification.
Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a northern living allowance. Moving assistance may be available.
