The Manager, Payroll Systems and Services is accountable to the Director, Financial Planning for managing the organizations centralized payroll function to ensure accurate and timely processing of Saskatchewan Polytechnic salaries and benefits. The position must ensure compliance with all relevant federal and provincial regulations, collective agreements, benefit plan regulations, labour standards, organizational policies and Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS). The position is involved in long term planning, analysis and implementation of initiatives to improve the provision of Saskatchewan Polytechnic payroll. This position also works closely with the Managers of Client Support and Financial Analysis, providing support and analysis to senior management on a variety of financial and budget related matters, as well as assisting with the development and analysis of the Operating and Capital Plan and related projects on an as-needed basis.
