Job Description: An ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent customer service experience. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
-Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
-Preparing menu items according to standard recipes and following consistent plating protocols.
-Preparing daily soup and a minimum of 2 unique specials every day
-Using an espresso machine to prepare beverages
-Serving alcohol and maintaining alcohol inventory
-Preparing a weekly salad special and fresh desserts daily
-Inventory tracking and re-ordering supplies by weekly deadlines
-Serving customers in an efficient and courteous manner
-Working with a team to provide a high quality service
-Supervising and mentoring staff
-Handling cash transactions
-Support and leading in planning cultural events for a local and regional audience
-Long-term and weekly menu planning
-Doing dishes, cleaning oven, stove, and grill.
-Reporting all problems to cafe owner.
