Understanding, operating, and maintaining all types of Ditch Witch Horizontal Directional Drill Units (Models 920 to JT 100)
Locating the drill head using F2 and F5 locating systems
Ensure compliance with AECOM's Safety Management Policy through;
- Safe operation of all equipment
- Attending Safety and Tailgate meetings
- Conducting site Inspections,
- Completing Task Hazard Assessments
Operate and maintain semi-tractor/trailer units in a safe manner
Complete Pre and Post-Trip inspections on vehicles and maintain Driver Vehicle Logs
Provide high levels of customer service with the ability to build on our established customer relationships
Job Requirements:
Knowledgeable in the construction of underground water and sewer systems or other buried utilities
Must be able to work in a team environment and clearly follow direction
Able to work out of town on a 6/1 schedule
3-5 years' construction experience using Horizontal Directional Drilling and locating systems
Valid 1A drivers license is mandatory
Clean drivers abstract required
Valid Safety Tickets (H2S, First Aid, Ground Disturbance 2, Powered Mobile Equipment, and CSTS)
