Description

The Italian Club is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Manager.  The key responsibility is to assist the current Manager in the day to day operations of the Italian Club.  The Italian Club has a members lounge and a large banquet hall.  We are a very busy club and are looking for someone that is available for weekends, days and evening shifts.  Hours will vary week to week.  
You will work closely with our Manager, Chef, other staff members and customers.  Consisitently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.  Strong commuication and organization skills are required.  Must be able to work well with others and be able to respond quickly and positively to shifting priorities.  You will assist in the selection, training and measure performance of employees.  Order food and supplies to optimize profits and ensure that all events are properly staffed and supplied to ensure guests are satisfied with their experience.
The assistant manager is expected to act as the Manager in their absence.
