GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Reporting to the Capital and Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Operator is responsible for monitoring, coordinating and conducting maintenance on the facility, community clinics, equipment, grounds and vehicle fleet. The Maintenance Operator will develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors who provide services to AHA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and operate automated facility and clinic systems.
Perform regular facility maintenance and assist in minor capital projects.
Perform daily equipment and system checks and maintain the applicable logs.
Organize vehicle fleet logistics and coordinate the completion of repairs and regular maintenance.
Schedule facility visits of services providers and contractors, and coordinate travel plans.
Assist the Capital and Facilities Manager with procurement through obtaining and evaluating quotes.
Be on-call, as required, for emergency maintenance situations and driving of the HTV vehicle.
Perform other related duties, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced maintenance skills or equivalent trade certificates or a combination of education and experience.
Minimum of five (5) years experience in a maintenance operation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License required.
Clear Criminal Record Check.

OTHER PERTINANT INFORMATION
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am- 7:00 p.m.
Housing not available. Successful applicants must agree to reside in Stony Rapids or Black Lake on a full-time basis.
