We require an energetic, team orientated person to fill the position of:
DISPATCHER
Location: Halbrite
Primary Responsibilities will include:
Take orders from customers and assign them to available/applicable units.
Communicate load information to unit drivers
Key areas of Responsibility:
Receive and re-direct incoming telephone calls
Establish load/unload times, places and directions
Assign unit to load/dispatch assigned units
Keep track of all dispatched units progresses
Two way radio communications
Supervise and dispatch employees-manage schedules and manager customer relations.
Data entry
Collect drivers daily hours of service and track drivers to ensure reset when over hours
Various duties/communications as may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Abilities:
A knowledge of Oilfield trucking rules and regulations
A knowledge of Tank Truck, Vac Truck, and Hot Oiler operations as well as related oilfield service equipment.
Act as a liaison between customer and/or management and the drivers
Process and transmit information and instructions.
After hours on call rotation with company cell phone.
Liaise with Fleet Manager for repairs and maintenance of fleet equipment.
Monitor personnel workloads and locations.
