Nursing Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
1. Accepting the delivery and return of medications from the pharmacy and providing an audit check.
2. Assisting the Physician or Nurse practitioner with assessment and charting of vital signs,
3. Dispense over the counter and additional medications as prescribed by Clinic Physician or Nurse Practitioner.
4. Assist in facilitating Clinical or Educational Telehealth appointments and group sessions.
5. Monitor and chart urine screens
6. Utilize the nursing process to assess patients as needed or during scheduled appointments and provide additional support and education regarding Mental Health Disorders.
7. Keep records of dispensed medication
8. Communicate with Outreach workers, Case managers, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Counselors, The Provincial lab or other personnel.
Qualifications:
1. Licensed Practical Nurse
2. Able to perform Intramuscular and Subcutaneous injections.
3. Experience in Counselling and management of patients with Mental Health Disorders.
4. Able to use Electronic Medical Record software (Will train if necessary) and electronic MARs.
Centre Hours:
Monday to Friday 9am 12pm
Statutory Holidays: Closed
Salary: Competitive to current pay scale.
