Transwest Air is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the Inflight Team. As Transwest Air operates scheduled and charter flights, you must be able to be away from home from time to time and have the ability to work on your own in a flexible work environment.
A Flight Attendants work week is designed around the operational needs of the airline which is 7 days per week with irregular hours. Candidates must be flexible, willing to work long hours and during weekends and holidays.
Successful candidates will be those with effective communication and problem solving skills who can deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
The Flight Attendant is responsible to ensure that operational requirements of every flight are fulfilled in accordance with the Flight Attendant Manual.
The Flight Attendant must pass the Initial Flight Attendant Training program and maintain qualification through Annual Training.
The Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring passenger comfort, providing inflight service, and ensuring the safe conduct of the flight.
Skills and Qualifications:
Superior customer service with at least 2 years of previous customer service experience
High degree of flexibility with respect to scheduling work week
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills resulting in professional responses to a variety of situations
An effective team player, with a positive attitude and an attention to detail, ready to respond to any difficult situation
Speak, read and write English fluently
Minimum 19 years of age due to liquor service
Willing and able to work full time- approximately 20-22 days a month
Education: High School or equivalent
Training: Successful applicants must complete and pass the Transwest Air flight attendant Initial training course.
