The HCC Registered Nurse is responsible for assessment and client care. He/She will also coordinate home care staffing services in such a way as to meet the needs of the clients effectively while encouraging client independence, family and community support. The HCC Registered Nurse will screen, refer, assess, review and evaluate case plans of the Home Care services and ensure those services are consistent with the philology, objective and policies of the Saskatchewan First Nation Home Care Program. The goal is to provide a home & community care program safety and meet the home care cliental needs, encouraging their families' independence and community support.
Essential Skills

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work
Specific Skills
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care
- Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
- Manage home care cases
