We are currently seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant/Return to Work Coordinator, Contractor or Employee to develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans and facilitate return to work programs for Saskatoon and surrounding areas. Travel throughout Saskatchewan is required. This is a home-based position that offers professional autonomy and excellent remuneration.
We utilize a multidisciplinary approach with a best practice philosophy. We return individuals to employment in the most cost effective manner for our customers while done in a respectful and safe manner for our clients. Where possible, the Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant/Return to Work Coordinator assists in restoring the individual to the previous level of function. In every case we seek to enhance the individuals quality of life as they recover from or learn to cope with any form of disability.
Skills and Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly an ability to craft comprehensive rehabilitation reports)
Ability to work independently and part of a team
Experience in working with both physical and mental health claims
Experience working with short term, LTD and WCB claims
Experience developing and implementing early intervention return to work plans with employers
Experience in employment counselling and job search assistance
Must have excellent analytical skills and ability to problem solve
Strong interpersonal and counselling skills are an asset
Access to a vehicle, ability to travel within Saskatchewan and a valid drivers license required
Experience building and maintaining relationships with customers and/or referral sources
Computer literate Microsoft Office; Outlook, etc.
