Dream Development is the land development division within Dream Unlimited.  We have become one of the largest developers in Saskatchewan and Alberta, developing thousands of acres of land over the years.

Role
Dream is looking to hire a Residential Construction Site Assistant, responsibilities include:
Provide support, structure and operations to Construction Manager and Site Superintendent. Provide direction to all sub-trades and be hands-on. Ensure safety and quality control is managed. Manage, track and enforce schedule and update weekly logs. Well versed with Saskatchewan residential building codes and understanding of site servicing, mechanical, plumbing and electrical knowledge an asset.  Understands scopes and aspects of project divisions 1 to 16. An eye for design and attention to detail. Understands stage 1 to 3 condo suite interior trim finish processes. Ability and planning to be a forward thinker, capable of driving the schedule.
Understand all tender requirements;
Understand study drawings, providing technical valued engineering suggestions to project management team;
Assist in developing project budgets;
Collecting and analyzing information;
Active participant in project start up and close out meetings.

Qualifications
BSc in Engineering or Civil Engineering Degree. Certifications with Canadian Construction Institute or Gold Seal certifications;
5 years of progressive experience in the capacity as residential site assistant, with experience and understanding of civil and site servicing and wood frame construction structures;
A general knowledge of Contract/Owner/Engineer General Terms and Conditions;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of Sage/Timberline, Estimate Master, Pro Contractor MX, and Primavera 6 would be an asset;
Willing to travel to multiple project sites; and
LEED accreditation an asset.
