SkipTheDishes is a young, high-performance, Canadian tech start-up that has quickly become Canada's largest restaurant delivery network. We connect hungry people with their favourite local restaurants and food couriers through our innovative GPS-tracking food delivery technology.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Help build out the world's first on-demand, logistics engine for delivery. We're looking for talented developers to join our team and help us create and maintain a 24x7 no downtime global infrastructure system that powers SkipTheDishes. The right person will be working with cutting edge technologies and amazingly smart people.

You'll be working on everything from creating predictive models that efficiently assign drivers to orders, to backend systems that all our products plugin, to scaling products that will automate human processes and make deliveries happen as fast as possible.

WHO YOU ARE:
- Evaluates the technical tradeoffs of every decision
- Track record of producing top quality code in a variety of languages
- Passionate about solving interesting, bleeding-edge engineering problems
- Driven, focused self-starters who take ownership of their work
- Excited to develop, release and run large-scale, real-time applications
- Experience working with databases (e.g. SQL) and data infrastructure
- Familiar with web technologies such as Python/webapp2 and JavaScript frameworks
- Working knowledge or interest in mobile design (Objective C, Android). All experience levels encouraged to apply
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience
