Description

Primary roles are to sell John Deere Ag and Turf products (new and used), promote parts and service sales and provide customer solutions to a designated group of Nelson Motors and Equipment's (NME) customers.

The goal will be to represent NME as a market leader in the supply of products, services and solutions to Agricultural, Turf and local industries customers.  

Represent Nelson Motors and Equipment as a sales professional within a defined area.(Avonlea/Radville area)
Knowing and following a defined sale processes
Help update and maintain customer profile with in Nelson Motors and Equipment's operating system.
Attend applicable sales training events and classes.
Enhance the relationship between our customer and the dealership.
Assist with the preparation and delivery of customer events

Competencies and Qualifications:

Ag and turf equipment sales experience and asset.
Strong understanding of current agricultural practices, operations and trends.
Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.
The capacity to understand and operate computer based quoting system and technological advancements.
Ability to use web based tools and systems
High level of verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours and Saturdays in the seasonally busy times (summer)
Post secondary training an asset
A general understanding of advanced farming operations.
The ability to work as a team player amongst the sales peers, management and support staff a desire to find the best solution to meet our customers requirements.
