Synopsis: The MCCS Communications Associate works in collaboration with the Communications and Donor Relations Director to develop and implement strategies and tools for communicating the vision, activity and impact of MCC to its constituents and the broader community in Saskatchewan.
Qualifications: All MCC workers are expected to exhibit a commitment to: a personal Christian faith and discipleship; active church membership; and biblical nonviolent peacemaking.
Assignment Narrative: The MCCS Communications Associate is responsible for creating a vibrant Communication and Marketing strategy and implementing it with the result in deepened Saskatchewan constituent relationships with MCC, as evidenced by meeting the annual goals of the MCCS. This is done through a combination of print communication, electronic media and social networking for which the Communications Associate is responsible.
This position is accountable to the Communications and Donor Relations (CDR) Director and works closely with Donor Relations, Program Team and MCC Saskatchewan staff to plan and promote events and appeals both locally and in collaboration with the CDR network in Canada and across the MCC system.
Occasional extra time and/or weekend and evening work will be expected of the Communications Associate.
