Description

The Battlefords Indian & Metis friendship Center has an immediate opening for a full time Employment Coordinator to work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.  The duties of the Employment Coordinator will be to coordinate the Battlefords Employment Readiness Program Program, which is a 15 month program to empower urban aboriginal youth ages  16 to 24 by offering training.
Duties:
-    To work under the direct supervision of the Executive Director to coordinate the delivery of job skills and readiness training.
-    Work with clients to identify and find solutions to barriers
-    Assist them in obtaining  employment
Qualifications:
-    Ability to work within an aboriginal setting in an effective manner.
-    Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
-    Ability to work with a variety of businesses and community based service providers and agencies.
-    Good oral communication and written skills.
-    Basic computer skills.
-    Must provide a valid Saskatchewan drivers license and CIPC
