Description

Crop Production Assistant will work in all areas of crop production under the direction & guidance of the Farm Manager & Assistant Farm Manager.  

Key responsibilities:
-operate various farm machinery throughout season
-assist with planting, weed control, & harvest
-work with Shop Foreman in conducting repairs & maintenance on equipment
-assist in maintaining crop production records
-haul grain & fertilizer throughout the season
-other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:
-working towards a diploma/degree in Agriculture, Crop Production, or quivilant preferred
-experience operating various types of farm equipment
-strong mechanical ability & skills
-valid class 5 licence required, class 1 preferred with the willingness & ability to obtain required
