Job Description
Heartland Health Region (HHR) is seeking a family physician for a full-time Regional based Locum position based out of physicians community of choice. HHR physicians are active participants in healthcare delivery in rural communities, including patient care and on call emergency coverage. They work closely with nurses and other health care providers to meet the specific needs of each community.
Heartland is located in west-central Saskatchewan and provides health care services to a population of 44,100. Heartland is home to some of the friendliest communities in the country! We have excellent healthcare services and programs, great recreation and leisure services and wonderful schools.

Job Qualifications
Job Qualifications: A Saskatchewan Medical License, Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage,Canadian residency/immigration status, and eligibility for membership on the Heartland Health Region Practitioner Staff are required. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, in accordance with immigration requirements, Canadian and permanent residents will be given preference.
