This position is located in Missinipe, Saskatchewan at the Churchill River Trading Post (CRTP). The CRTP is owned and operated by Thompson's Camps Otter Lake Resort and its parent company Adventure Destinations International.
All accommodations and food for the season are provided free of charge.
Trading Post clerks are responsible to make sure the grocery section of the store is well-stocked for our customers. They assist in receiving, storing, and stocking of products while ensuring proper product rotation and quality. They create and build product displays, ensure proper fronting of products, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy. Grocery clerks must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items. In addition, grocery clerks must be able to perform all duties of a cashier.

- Stock shelves and display areas
- Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list
- Operate cash register
- Obtain articles for customers from shelf or stockroom
- Keep stock clean and in order
- Direct customers to location of articles sought
- Carry customer's purchases
- Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
- Record incoming stock
- Perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors)
- Operate computer for electronic commerce transactions
