Description

Job duties:
Operate and drive primarily semi-trucks to transport DARMANI grain storage products (bin pkgs and accessories) to farm sites
driver performs easy pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes, hook ups, etc
Ensure cargo is secured in accordance with DARMANI tie down procedures.  
Communicate with coordinator so that loads can be ready and scheduled accordingly.  
Sometimes long hours are required and weekend work are required as well
Skills and work experience requirements:
    A Class 1 A is required
    Clean drivers abstract (no greater than 30 days old)
    Must be able to lift min. 50 pounds  
    Fluent in English
    Must be drug free as this is a professional occupational job.  
Wages being offered:
    $6,000- 9,000/ month depends on experience/hours/profit sharing based type of incentives

- Maintenance and repair reports

- Public transportation is not available
- Valid driver's licence
-DARMANI has picker equipped trailers by which trucker can self-unload
Essential Skills
Picker experience is preferred but training is provided for those who dont have previous experience.
-Mechanically inclined
-Ability to work with equipment as trucker will be required to load /unload  
Type of Travel
-Short-haul/Western Canada-Primarily Sask and Alberta
Additional Skills
- Good communication with customers (farmers)
Specific Skills
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Loading and unloading of goods
- Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
- Perform brake adjustments
- Receive and relay information to trucking coordinator
