Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc. is currently seeking to fill the following position:

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

The Finance Department is looking for an Accounting Technician to assist in various daily duties.

Reporting to the Finance Controller, the successful candidate will be involved with processing Accounts Payable invoices, reconciling supplier statements, preparing month end journal entries and working papers, as well a performing administrative functions within the Accounting group.

Required skills include: a high level of accuracy and attention to detail; excellent organization skills; a strong focus on process and procedures; and an ability to work effectively in a team environment.  Previous related experience and Post-Secondary training in the field of Accounting are desirable. The successful candidate must possess strong computer skills.
