Description

Duties and responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Camp Manager, the Camp Nurse is responsible for the health, well-being and safety of the campers at all times.  

Duties include:
- Supervising the administration of all medication
- Providing first aid treatment and nursing care as required
- Working as a liaison with the Watrous Hospital
- Working as a liaison between the Camp,
parents/guardians, campers and care facilities
- Working as a liaison with Counsellors, Senior
Counsellors, Administration and Dietary Staff
- Maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the
medical centre
- Advising in the purchase of medical supplies
- Other duties as specified by the Camp Manager

Qualifications:
- Saskatchewan Licensed Registered Nurse or
Saskatchewan Licensed Practical Nurse
- Ability to work with people with disabilities
- Effective interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and facilitation skills
- Oral communication skills
- Positive attitude

The final candidates are required to provide a
satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector search.
