David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a District Manager (commercial) based in Saskatoon,  assuming responsibilities for the Commercial Construction Business Unit.

The Role:

Our client is seeking a District Manager to lead their growing commercial General Contracting business in Saskatoon. This is a career growth opportunity for experienced senior project and operation managers who have a desire to take on new managerial and leadership challenges.

This role will require you to have extensive knowledge of Project Management /Estimating within the ICI and multi-family construction industry, along with previous experience as a Senior Project Manager. You will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, an adaptable personality and organizational skills that allow you to manage multiple projects. Your entrepreneurial nature and drive for success will be integral to the continued growth and development of the company.

The Ideal Candidate:

A Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture or Business, or relevant experience in a senior managerial position within the construction industry is considered an asset.
15 plus years in the construction industry.
Construction management, design build and general contracting experience in the commercial, retail, institutional and industrial sectors.
Project management experience is a requirement.
Demonstrated capabilities in Supervising, training and mentoring staff.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Ability to provide collaborative leadership throughout all business activities.
