Exciting times are underway for the Saskatchewan Health Quality Council (HQC) as they continue on their mission to accelerate the quality of health care for everyone, every time. The Health Quality Council (HQC) is an independent agency that measures and reports on quality of care in Saskatchewan, promotes improvement, and engages people and organizations in building a better health system. Created in 2002 by The Health Quality Council Act, HQC is governed by a board of directors comprising provincial, national, and international leaders in quality improvement science, health policy, and health care delivery.
Reporting to the HQC Board of Directors, the CEO will work with HQC Board to objectively measure healthcare quality and work with the HQC's system partners to continually improve healthcare quality across Saskatchewan The CEO will ensure the organization responds to the needs of the system for measurement and reporting, while continuing to identify emerging opportunities for innovation in care and serving as an active participant in ensuring those opportunities are realized.
The CEO will be seen as an innovative leader of change having already inspired lasting quality improvements in environments with complex governance structures. This person will have led high performing teams in the past and have served as an inspiration for an organization in their quest for transformative change The ideal candidate has exemplary communication and relationship building skills and possesses a unique ability to rally various groups towards the delivery of a common vision.
If you want to lead an organization that serves as a trail blazer in system-wide transformational change within health care while the rest of the world watches, then this is the role for you.
