Are you looking for a career in housing?
The Esterhazy Housing Authority is currently hiring for a Building Caretaker. If you are ambitious and skilled in providing building, grounds, and janitorial maintenance, wed love to hear from you!

What you'll do:
ensure the highest standard of appearance, safety, security, and longevity of housing authority property;
provide building maintenance, both service and repair;
prepare vacant housing units to be rented;
provide grounds maintenance  including snow removal, lawn care, etc;
maintain the housing authoritys equipment, vehicles, and inventory;
provide janitorial services

What we're looking for:
knowledge of the basic techniques used in a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, and painting;
the ability to repair minor defects in mechanical, building, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment;
someone with a Firemans Certificate (certificate to operate a boiler), or the ability to obtain this certificate;
WHMIS, fall arrest, and confined spaces training; or the ability to obtain these training courses;
a good communicator who is able to maintain professional relationships with tenants, housing authority staff, contractors, and suppliers;
recognition of, and respect for, peoples diversity and individual differences;
the ability to maintain confidentiality

What you'll need:
One to three years experience in a maintenance and repair environment; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered;
A valid drivers license and a suitable, roadworthy vehicle
