We offer competitive compensation and benefit packages and are currently accepting Journeyman & Apprentice Steamfitter/Pipefitter applications for future opportunities on industrial construction projects located throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta and Ontario.
Responsibilities Include:
Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use, and lay out the sequence of tasks
Small diameter tube installation, which include swaging and bending.
Create detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation, as required
Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves and fittings
Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position
Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks
Be knowledgeable and practising in all aspects of shop and site safety
Be able to read and interpret isometric and blueprint drawings
Bending of piping using hand and power tools
Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
Work out elevations and co-ordinates for piping installs
Fit various grades of pipe to weld and form piping systems
Test and re-instate piping systems
Who You Are:
Must be a certified provincial journeyperson/apprentice pipefitter/steamfitter, or recognized equivalent.
Experience working in a safety sensitive environment.
