Rail City Industries Ltd. (RCI)is dedicated to providing quality support services to meet the needs of adults 18 years of age or older, with cognitive disabilites.  RCI supports individuals to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive and most respectful environment.

Key Duties, Responsibilities & Tasks:
Oversees and monitors the efficient and effective day-today operation of the organization, including planning, implementation and evaluation of the organization's programs and services.  Administers the funds of the organization, prepares budgets approved by the board, and maintains sound bookkeeping procedures.  Reporting financials to the appropriate government funding agencies.  Ensures the agency human resource functions and strategies are in line with the organization's policies, philosophy and culture.  Develops and sustains community relations in support of agency participants.  Identifies and evaluates the risks to individuals involved with the organization, property, finances, goodwill and image and implement measures to control risks.  Balances doing and planning to ensure agency operations are viable now and in the future.  Leads the drive for sustained cooperation, teamwork and enthusiasm across the agency.

Qualifications:
Relevant post-secondary education and related experience, with 3-5 years of experience in a management role.  A combination of training and experience may be considered.
Knowledge of human resource management, financial processes, and of non-profit structure.
Proficiency in spreadsheets, keyboarding, and office equipment
Time-management, organizational and communication skills are essential.
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve organizational success.
Must provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment.
Must hold a valid driver's license  and be bondable.
