Description

The Manager, Communications will lead the delivery of enterprise wide communications and marketing services functions, including leadership and management of digital communications tools.  Significant collaboration is required with other leaders in the organization to ensure communications initiatives support business strategies, goals, objectives and tactics.

This role contributes to the enhancement of the corporate image and reputation through the development of corporate and business line annual communications plans.  The Manager, Communications also develops and recommends (in collaboration with senior leaders) an effective corporate-wide external communications strategy, brand strategy, internal communications strategy, and associated digital strategies.  

The Manager, Communications oversees the and delivery of communications marketing services by setting priorities for deliverables based on strategies, projects and business needs.  You will liaise with leaders to develop comprehensive communication plans, with specific focus on corporate messaging for sensitive matters or material issues/initiatives.

This position is responsible to develop and manage department budgets, as well as establish and monitoring effective department staffing levels to accommodate business needs, balance workloads and manage to budget.  This role is also responsible to provide direction, coaching, mentoring and support to staff.
