Sam's Steak House (101121427 Saskatchewan Ltd.) a family business located at 212 Winnipeg Street, Manitou Beach, Watrous, SK S0K4T0 is searching for an experienced Greek food cook with at least 2 years of experience in the field and with a knowledge of authentic Greek food. Prior experience in Greek restaurant is a must. Experience in Greece and knowledge of Greek language is an asset. Prospective candidates should have some secondary school completed.
Prospective duties will entail:
Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons.
This is a full time position: 40 hours per week with a starting salary of 14 $ per hour.
