MLTC is currently seeking a dynamic motivated individual to fill a one (1) year term position of EMR Data Support Clerk for the Health & Social Development Department.
The primary role of the EMR Data Support Clerk is to conduct activities that help support MLTC and the nine (9) MLFN communities in managing their health data. The EMR Data Support Clerk also assists in supporting, administering and monitoring the EMR processes.
This requires strong skills in assisting with program maintenance, training capabilities and extensive knowledge of the operation of computer programs. The ability to maintain strong MLTC/MLFN support and ongoing communication is essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificate /Diploma from a recognized institute in the appropriate field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data entry in various databases, spreadsheets, etc.
- High level of proficiency in computer software applications (i.e. Microsoft Office-Excel, Access, Word, etc.) with the ability to type 50 wpm.
- Knowledgeable in health information technology and health management that includes Human Resource management techniques/office procedures.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations and Privacy and Security Policies; and of the Meadow Lake Tribal Council organizational structure and functions.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and willing and able to travel extensively.
