Description

The Executive Director is the Chief Administrative Officer of NorthSask Special Needs Inc.  This position is responsible for the planning, development, implementation and ongoing management and leadership of the NSN Day Program for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This position is also responsible for the implementation of Board Policy in a manner consistent with the vision, mission and strategic goals of the organization.

Responsibilities
In program development, implementation and administration, the Executive Director will:

    Develop the NSN Day Program including policy, staff and potential for growth;

    Support and Communicate with Staff and Board;

    Build Relationships and Manage Human Resources; and,

    Demonstrate Accountability in all tasks

Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years direct experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is required.  A related post-secondary degree is considered an asset.

    Leadership
    Interpersonal and Public Relations
    Accountability and Reporting
    Board Governance
    Employee Development
