Snake Lake Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman for an upcoming earthworks job. We are looking for a person who is confident in running the operation while supervising, ensuring the safety of crew members, proper training and productivity of crews. The successful candidates will be responsible for production, safety management, employee supervision and execution of SLGC support system such as Preventative maintenance.
A few tasks you would perform:
Interface with client
Leadership & Supervision: Coordinates crews, is accountable for the efficient organization of crews, must understand & consistently apply the employers & owners policies and procedures.
Planning & Scheduling: Assign daily tasks to crew and perform daily & weekly activities to meet production goals
Quality Control: Ensure the work done meets standards & for implementing work processes to improve productivity & product quality.
Safety/Employee Relations: Must provide leadership the supports & enforces a safe work culture. Is responsible & accountable for the safety of the crew & must understand & accept the legal liability of the role.
Required Training:
Valid Class 5A license
SCSA Leadership for Safety Excellence
SCSA SCOT
SCSA- Safety Management
OH&S Level 1 &2
Level A First Aid
PME
Computer skills (email, word, excel etc.)

SCSA Confined Space and Respirator

Consideration will be given to those with ample field experience with same or similar operations. Basic survey equipment and knowledge of survey theories. Knowledge of equipment use and implementation of equipment in the correct applications.
