Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one to two years advanced scheduling experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment in addition to clerical and automated administrative experience.  

Experience:
    Basic mathematical skills to perform basic calculations.
    Organizational skills for filing and to do daily work requirements.
    Strong attention-to-detail and accuracy skills for data entry and reporting purposes.
    Time and priority management skills for daily productivity purposes (e.g. Building order priorities).
    Interpersonal and communication skills for work interactions with Production Supervisors and other team members.
    Team building skills to work effectively in the production control department with other team members
    Resourcefulness and ability to take the initiative to expedite and solve daily production and inventory challenges.
    Creativity and ability to continuously improve the nature of work for special projects and to streamline work process and flow.

Accountabilities:
    Demonstration of Company values.
    Timely release of sales orders according to production schedules.
    Data entry accuracy (i.e., packing lists, sales orders, product details).
    Accurate reporting of production-related information.
    Estimates on labour as close as possible to actual  using all tools on hand to minimize production costs.
    Optimal material on part to minimize scrap.
    Correct routing entered for part to minimize production reworks.
    Maintaining Company expected inventory levels.
    Maintaining effective vendor and supplier relationships.
    Maintain material inventory with respect to financials in Accounting.
    Maintain cycle counting to be done within the external auditing requirements.
