Job Description:
2 - 5 years experience in modular construction, High-School Diploma or Equivalent needed.
Crew training, scheduling, oversight of set-crew duties, including the following:
  * Prepare modular units (MU) for crane erection
  * Crane install MU
  * Complete structural units
  * Complete MEP connections for MU
  * Complete exterior weather proofing and cladding for multi-story MU
  * Produces products by following standards; measuring results against standards; making adjustments
  * Determines material requirements and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated by studying blueprints, sketches or building plans
  * Maintains inventory; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  * Prepares layout by following carpentry procedures for fabrication of units, using rule, framing square, and calipers
  * Constructs, repairs and installs structure or fixture by marking cutting and assembly lines on materials shaping materials to measurements; assembling and fastening cut and shaped materials; using carpenters hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
Complies with federal and local building codes by adhering to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Maintains safe environment.
Ensures operation of carpentry requirement by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Maintains continuity among carpentry work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
