Humboldt Public School Childcare Centre is looking for an Assistant Director.
Duties:
Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate practices for children between 6 weeks of age and 12 years of age, which follows the vision of play and exploration.
Assist the Executive director to train and mentor the full time and part time staff
Understand and implement provincial and HPSCCC policies and procedures
Assume complete responsibly in the Executive Director's absence
Participates fully as a team member.
Qualifications:
Must have ECE Level II or III (preference will given to Level III),
2+ years experience in the childcare field would be an asset
Valid driver's license
First Aid/CPR C
Before the first day of work, a Tuberculosis Test, Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sectors search needs to be completed.
These positions will commence upon a mutually agreed start date.
