Kettle Valley Moulding and Millwork a recognized leader and supplier of premium quality wood stair, rail and moulding products is seeking a highly motivated individual to drive sales.
More specifically, primary responsibilities will include:
- Identify business opportunities with a focus on building and developing strong relationships with clients in the targeted industry (custom home builders, designers, architects, contractors).
- Analyze customer requirements and applications in order to recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Effectively manage leads by determining how to best close sales by direct involvement or use of product knowledge.
- Maintain quality service and provide professional, technical knowledge to customer base
- Develop sales strategies and techniques based on market conditions and strategy
Salary - Base Salary plus:
- Competitive commission structure on all sales
- Business expense reimbursement and car allowance
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a sales role within the building or comparable industry
- Familiar and comfortable in both construction site and management environments
- Existing contacts will be a great asset for this role.
- Strong relationship development skills as well as being able to manage customer expectations
- Proven results in successfully attains and exceeding organizational sales targets
- Ability to work in a team environment and drive results
- Ability to read architectural drawings considered an asset
