The company has a career opportunity for qualified applicants at PotashCorp Lanigan, located 100km east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Reporting to the Chief Mine Engineer, the Mining Engineering Student will be involved in conducting ventilation surveys, installing and monitoring ground control instrumentation, assisting with conducting ground control audits, and collecting/inputting mine engineering data into Arc GIS. The student will also assist with conducting geophysical surveys such as ground penetrating radar.
The successful candidate will have completed a minimum of two years in a Mining or Geological Engineering program, with experience working in a mining/heavy industrial environment. Superior interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential.
The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check. All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
