Description

Invigilators are responsible for the supervision of students during exam writing, to ensure fair and proper conduct.

Duties may include:

-Ensure the exam begins on time and that student has the correct information and material to complete the exam
-Monitor, document, address and report incidences of misconduct
-Advise student of exam procedures and regulations
-Scribe for the student (type/write down a student's dictated answers) and / or read the exam to the student
-Handle queries raised by students or refer them appropriately
-Collect and collate examinations and materials in accordance with strict procedures.

Exam invigilators should conduct themselves in a professional manner, work well with others, and demonstrate good communication skills.

Invigilators must be dependable and punctual.
