The Lodge is seeking a responsible, mature and well organized individual who can do general cleaning duties. Under the supervision and general direction of the Administrative Supervisor, this position is on an on-call basis and hours will fluctuate depending on need. General duties include,
maintaining a safe building and overall cleanliness of the building such as:
- clean rooms and offices
- Dust and wipe and disinfect areas as required
- Clean and disinfect all bathrooms
- Replace light bulbs
- Dust and sanitize furniture
- Empty trash
- Manage & sort the recycling requirements such as bottles/cardboard, etc.
- Sweep, mop and vacuums floors
- Locking and securing rooms in the building
- Complete laundry and linen changes as required
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and locked safely and distribute to staff as required
- Overall maintaining compliance with the regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Applicants must have:
- the ability to work with cleaning chemicals and other cleaning products, possessing no allergic reactions.
- The ability to be comfortable working independently
- The ability to be self-motivated, able to complete a task to the best of their ability.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Addiction free lifestyle
- Current and an acceptable CPIC and Child Abuse Registry check
- Valid Driver's license
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
