Description

Will provide an alternate approach to the well-being of the child, family and community based on the development of prevention services.

Qualifications:
-Degree (4yr) in related discipline with 18 mon. experience OR
-Certificate in Social Work (CSW/CISW) OR
-Bachelor of Social Work OR
-Grade 12 with a min. of 5 years experience in a related field
-Current Criminal Record Check incl. Vulnerable Sector Check
-Current and certified prohibited drug test report and agree to random testing as per YTCCFS Inc. policy.
-Valid Class 5 SK Drivers License and own a reliable vehicle.
Requirements:
Knowledge and understanding of the Child and Family Services Act
Ability to maintain a secure filing system
Ability to apply knowledge of programs and services that contribute to the wellbeing of the First Nation
Knowledge of Provincial and Federal government programs and policies that affect/impact programs and policies
Knowledge of general Saskatchewan social environment that affects or influences the First Nation
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to deal effectively with public, committee members, Chief and Council, fellow employees and general membership
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
Must be organized,punctual,dependable,ensuring confidentiality
Ability to utilize computer software and hardware Ability to make decisions using sound judgement in difficult/ ambiguous situations
Demonstrated organizational and time management
Able to work some evenings and weekends
