Description

Applications are invited for a permanent 42.5% Caretaker position in Grenfell. The successful candidate will be scheduled to work at Grenfell High Community School for 3 hours per day and the PVSD Grenfell Bus Shop for 2 hours per week, commencing as soon as possible.

Grenfell is a distribution and service centre, is home to many nearby recreational opportunities, and is situated 15 minutes from the beautiful and historic Qu'Appelle Valley. Attractions include the Adare Museum, a modern medical health facility, fitness centre, curling club and many other services and amenities.

The successful candidate will provide caretaking services for all school / Board of Education authorized activities, as well as provide for after hour emergency / custodial services on an as needed basis.

The Caretaker will work on a year round basis and will be compensated in accordance with the CUPE Local 5252 Collective Agreement at Step 1  $18.41 per hour.  Prairie Valley School Division employees also enjoy a pension plan and employer-paid group benefits package.
