Venables is searching for a motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Water-jet Operator. This unique position will allow the successful candidate a career with extensive decision making, liberal scheduling and a segregated work environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a state of the art, premium high-precision, OMAX Waterjet cutting machine.
Description:
Operators will be responsible for following all safety and maintenance requirements, efficiently and effectively control the flow of work orders, control inventory and maintain accurate and orderly storage of products in the area of operation
Set up and operate high speed OMAX Water Jet Machine
Able to cut and trim parts and materials according to specifications
Job Requirements:
Must be able to read blue prints
Punctuality and reliability essential
Good communication and mathematical skills
Computer skills and literacy an absolute necessity
Able to accurately follow written and verbal instructions and take direction
Able to work effectively and cohesively within a production environment.
Experienced in repairing and performing preventive maintenance to industrial machines
The successful candidate puts safety first, follows complex work instructions, and has strong attention to detail. Any related previous experience would be an asset.
