Description

Under the general supervision of the Director of Acute Care Services, the unit clerk is responsible for providing reception and clerical support to the unit/department. Demonstrates a commitment to the vision, values, goals and objectives of the region.

Education:
- Office Education Certificate

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic computer skills
- Basic medical terminology
- Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- No previous experience
- The successful candidate shall be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check

Selection:
Selection for this position will be based on Article 9.03 of the SAHO/SGEU Collective Agreement.
