DUTIES:
The Lifeguard/Instructor provides necessary supervision and protection for pool patrons in accordance with recognized procedure and instructs swimming lessons as well as carrying out daily pool maintenance duties.  This position involves the assignment of alternate duties on occasion.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The following certifications are required as a minimum:

Lifeguard:
1. Red Cross Lifeguard or National Lifeguard Service Award (NLS)
2. Standard First Aid/CPR C

Instructor:
1. Red Cross  Water Safety Instructor
2. Standard First Aid/CPR C

Applicants must be in good physical condition.  Alberta and Saskatchewan Child Welfare checks and a Criminal Record check must be provided before hiring.
