Gabriel Dumont Institute invites applications for a full-time Custodian II position at our La Loche building.

Duties: General cleaning and maintenance of office building, minor repairs as required, some outside yard work and snow removal, regular monitoring of all mechanical and internal systems.

Qualifications: Grade twelve (12) or GED equivalent, ability to be bonded, first aid/CPR training, building general maintenance experience and an aptitude to mechanical systems.  Experience in the construction sector would be a distinct asset. The ideal candidate will possess WHMIS training and have a working knowledge of all applicable Municipal, Provincial and Federal bylaws regarding the efficient, safe and legal operation of building and its systems.

Hours of Work: Fulltime (7 hours/day)

Term: February 2015 - February 2016

Remuneration: As per the GDI Collective Agreement

Start Date: February 23, 2015
